If you have forgotten your password, you should be able to reset it, so long as you answer all your MailTight Security Questions correctly. Security Questions and answers are usually set up when you first activate a MailTight account. If someone else initially set up your account for you, you may have set up your own Security Questions from your Account Dashboard later.
From the Login screen, click on ‘Can’t access your account?’, followed by ‘I have forgotten my password’. You will then be asked for your registered MailTight email address and will be prompted to answer your Security Questions.
If you have forgotten your MailTight registered email address or the answers to your Security Questions, please contact your account manager. If you are unable to do that, please contact support. We may be able to reset your password but have strict security protocols to verify the ownership of an account.
A MailTight account is compromised if anyone is able to gain access to it without your willing permission. This would happen if any other person learned your password and/or the answers to your Security Questions against your will.
If you suspect your MailTight account has been compromised but you can still gain access, it is vital that you log in to your Account Dashboard (using ‘My Account’ or ‘Login’ from the MailTight home page) and change your password AND Security Questions and answers as soon as possible. You must use a computer or device that you are confident is secure. Do not use an Internet café, untrusted computer or one that might be infected with malware/viruses/trojans or have a “keylogger” installed – including your own computer – if that is possibly how your account was compromised.
Anyone else who has learned your password or answers to your Security Questions will have the ability to change them and block you out of your own account.
If you are unable to access your account, you should contact your account manager as soon as possible. If you are unable to do that, please contact support. We may be able to reset your password and Security Questions but have strict security protocols to verify the ownership of an account.
